Most sessions run at ARC Studio in Bellingen, on the New South Wales Mid North Coast. Several sessions, including the monthly Writing ARC focus session and the online writers collective, run online so you can join from anywhere in Australia.
No. Sessions are open to writers at any stage, people returning to writing after time away, and complete beginners. You do not need to be working on a project to belong here.
Yes. I work professionally in autism and neurodiversity, and that shapes how sessions run: predictable structure, no pressure to speak, no surprise sharing, and room to participate in the way that works for you.
No. Sharing is always optional, and there is no critique in the monthly writing spaces. The Gathering ARC workshop is the exception, as it is specifically about giving and receiving feedback, and you choose what to bring.
Bookings go through Humanitix, linked from the Workshops page. Places for in-person sessions are limited, and payment confirms your spot. Cancellations made more than 24 hours before a session receive a full refund or credit.
